We had the chance to go sampling fish and mussels mostly at lakes Poyang and Bao’an, plus a few extra locations.
Visiting at the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences was a fantastic experience that allowed me significant progress in my research field and shaped my ideas about freshwater biology.
The time at IHB wonderfully improved my competence in research and showed me the beautiful cities of China as well as the rich culture heritage and hospitality.
It is really pleasure for me to go abroad, immersing myself in a new culture and language, getting out of comfort zone; all of these things are always worthwhile.
I didn’t feel that I’ve passed almost 3 yrs, and that’s the wonder with student life at IHB.
